FAHRO Scholarship

Each year, the Florida Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials awards scholarships to deserving students that are interested in furthering their education.  These scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors, as well as adults enrolling in college, or a vocational program.  An endorsement of the letter of the student from the Housing Authority where they reside is required.  This will meet the requirement of one (1) of the two (2) letters of recommendation. 

Awarded amounts will vary, based on scoring criteria and number of applicants.

NAHRO Merit College Scholarship/NAHRO-LDG Scholars Program

Three (3) $12,000 scholarships over four years to assist with tuition and fees which will also include:
$3,000 a year for up to three years, as a summer internship stipend
Networking opportunities with business and community leaders

PHADA Scholarship Programs

In order to encourage academic excellence and community responsibility among high school students, PHADA has implemented a scholarship program for graduating seniors who are preparing to enter college. PHADA will award three scholarships to deserving youth currently residing in a PHADA member agency.
